At Bloomery, we offer exclusive, hands-on floral workshops designed to inspire and teach you the art of flower arranging. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced florist, our workshops are a fun and educational way to explore your creativity.
How to Book Your Workshop

Workshop Details
Limited Spaces: Each workshop is capped at just eight spaces, ensuring that everyone has ample room to work and receive personalised one-on-one tuition when needed (plus extra cake to keep you fuelled!).

Cancellation more than six weeks before the class and no materials ordered full refund. If materials have been ordered these will be deducted from your refund.

Floristry Workshops in the Cotswolds
At Bloomery in Broadway, we host relaxed, creative floristry workshops throughout the year. Each one celebrates the beauty of the seasons, using British-grown flowers in season (and Dutch flowers when the weather is cooler), natural materials and sustainable techniques. Whether you’d like to make a wreath, a vase arrangement, or a dried flower design to last all year, our workshops are suitable for all skill levels — from beginners to budding florists.
Here’s a little about what we offer:
Dried Flower Wreath Workshop
Bring a touch of everlasting beauty into your home. Learn the basics of drying flowers — how to choose and prepare your blooms and foliage — a handwoven willow base will be provided for you on the day. You’ll then decorate it with beautifully dried flowers to make a delicate, long-lasting wreath for indoors.
Spring Wreath Workshop
Welcome the new season with a handcrafted spring wreath. We’ll provide a handwoven willow base, toegther we’ll add moss, bulbs and fresh foliage — creating a living wreath that grows and blooms over time. The perfect way to brighten your front door and celebrate spring’s arrival.
Summer Wreath Workshop
Think wreaths are just for winter? Think again. Using a handwoven willow base, you’ll design a summer wreath filled with succulents, herbs and foliage that can stay outside through the warmer months. Learn how to choose and care for materials that thrive in the heat.
Autumn Wreath Workshop
Capture the richness of autumn with a wreath full of golden foliage, berries and texture. You’ll start with a handwoven willow base, then layer it with beautiful, natural textures — a perfect way to bring the colours of the season to your front door.
Christmas Wreath Workshop
Nothing says Christmas quite like a handmade wreath. Using your handwoven willow base, together we’ll add pine, conifer, berries and natural decorations such as cones, dried fruit and cinnamon. A festive favourite and a lovely way to start the festive season.
Moss Art Workshop
Create your own piece of living-style art using sustainably preserved moss and foliage. You’ll receive a handmade frame and a selection of mosses to design your own unique piece to take home. These artworks stay lush for months without water — just a gentle dust now and again keeps them fresh.
Vase Arrangement Workshop
Join us for a hands-on flower arranging class using beautiful, fresh, seasonal flowers. We’ll talk through the principles of floristry — including colour, texture and balance — and how to make your blooms last longer. Then, create your own foam-free vase arrangement to take home and enjoy.
Dried Flower Cloche Workshop
Capture the essence of each season under glass. Using flowers we’ve sourced from local Cotswold growers, or from a specialist dried flower supplier we’ll explore colour, texture and form before you design your own dried flower cloche — a lovely keepsake or thoughtful gift.
Dried Flower Bouquet Workshop
Learn the art of creating long-lasting arrangements using our curated selection of dried flowers. We’ll chat about drying techniques and flower selection, before you make your own hand-tied bouquet using flowers we’ve sourced from local Cotswold growers, or from a specialist dried flower supplier.
Seasonal Hand-Tied Arrangement Workshop
Celebrate the best of British-grown flowers in season with a hands-on floristry class. Together we’ll create a hand-tied bouquet filled with seasonal blooms, scent and texture. Each arrangement is finished with a Bloomery gift bag and glass vase for you to take home.
Terrarium Workshop
Create your own miniature ecosystem in glass. We’ll cover the basics of terrarium building — from choosing plants to understanding the microclimate — then you’ll build your own self-sustaining garden to take home. Perfect for gifting or brightening your home or workspace.
Flower Crown Workshop (Ideal for Hen Parties)
A joyful, relaxed class where you’ll make your own flower crown using seasonal flowers and foliage. Perfect for hen parties in the Cotswolds or a group of friends looking for a fun, creative experience in or near Broadway.

Where we hold our workshops
Our light, bright and airy floral studio is on Kennel Lane, Broadway in the heart of the Cotswolds there is free parking opposite the studio.
We use as many flowers from local flower farms as we can in season and create our designs in environmentally-friendly methods (we won’t use florists foam or cellophane) – so it’s good for the planet and the plant!
We supply all of the equipment you need from string to scissors to refreshments and (of course!) biscuits and cakes. Just bring yourself and maybe a friend and be prepared to relax and have fun!
Our workshops are suitable for all from absolute beginners to the more experienced flower arranger.
Hen and stag parties
We also offer workshops that can be part of your hen or stag party, whether you’d like to create your own flower crowns, corsages or hand-tied bouquets we can tailor a workshop just for you and we’ll supply the celebratory bubbles of course!
